Achieving Independence Through Internet Business

Achieving Independence Through Internet Business

Sorry again for the unexpected absences of late. It’s been due, in part, to some technical difficulties on my end, as well as some travel opportunities I’ve been enjoying recently. But I’ve also been taking some time off to think about what direction I want to go with Common Sense Marketing, and whether or not I’m meeting my goal of helping people launch and succeed with internet businesses.

A lot of this brainstorming is being driven by the fact that I’m planning a major site redesign for the month of July. As much as I love the current look of the site, I’m starting to run into some limitations with the theme I’m using that prevent me from fully implementing all of the ideas I have for the site. I’m also in the process of developing a more cohesive visual brand for the site, so plan on seeing some changes around here over the next few months! (Hopefully, changes for the best…)

As a part of developing this visual identity, I’ve had to put a lot of thought into what this site means to me and how I want it to help all of you who read it. I mean, really, I can’t offer you advice on how to become multi-millionaires or how to retire wealthy at age 30, because I haven’t experienced either of those things. Heck, I’m not even self-employed right now, so how am I qualified to give you advice on how to ‘flip your boss the bird’ and ride off into internet business bliss?!

Well, at least for me, internet business is about a lot more than just those stereotypical sales pitch scenarios…

Honestly, it’s fitting that I’m writing this on Independence Day (at least, for those of you here in America), because the one thing I want more than anything is to help you achieve independence – however you define that – through ethical internet businesses.

Independence doesn’t have to mean socking away $1 million in the bank, quitting your day job and sailing into the sunset (although those are all pretty awesome goals to have). Instead, it might mean:

*Earning enough extra income to fund family vacations beyond what your day job allows for…

*Satisfying a personal, professional or creative urge that demands an outlet, even if it can’t happen through your 9-to-5 job…

*Experiencing the satisfaction of knowing that an unexpected layoff won’t bankrupt you and your family…

I work online for all of these reasons, plus plenty of others that mean “independence” to me. I don’t know what your reasons are for pursuing internet business, but I hope you’ve put some time into thinking about them. Knowing what your own personal motivations are can be incredibly helpful in maintaining momentum in your business.

So I hope that today – in addition to spending the holiday with friends, family members and a cold beer or two – you’ll take a moment to think about what independence means to you and whether or not your current business is meeting the ideals you’ve laid out for yourself. If it isn’t, there’s no better time to start pursuing the independence you dream of than today!

To help you along with that goal, I’ve got a special Fourth of July gift for you…

*10-Day Traffic Burst Plan – Travis Petelle of the Warrior Forum put together this awesome “Quick Start” guide on how to get more traffic to your affiliate site in the next 10 days. It’s short, sweet, to-the-point, and I love that it has specific action steps for you to take to implement the strategies he shares.

*How to Build a Blog with 10K Subscribers – You all know I love Glen Allsopp over at ViperChill, and I’m excited to be able to share this 32-page report he put together on how ViperChill skyrocketed its subscriber base in a short period of time with you. Even if you’re in affiliate marketing instead of blogging, you’ll still get a lot of value out of his tips on keyword research and building momentum.

To claim these bonuses, simply follow the link below and fill out the survey on your experiences at Common Sense Marketing. I promise – it’s short, sweet and it’ll only take a few minutes to finish.

(**Please note – I’ll be sending bonuses by hand, so pardon any delays between when you finish the survey and when you receive your free reports!)

Thank you in advance – I truly appreciate any feedback you can give that will help me turn Common Sense Marketing into the best resource out there on ethical internet businesses.

Hope you enjoy your Fourth of July holiday and your special bonuses!
